Notes: Ivor Beddoes completed the following 20 watercolours and sketches while travelling with the British 8th Army in North Africa, 1942. Prior to joining the army, Beddoes worked as a costume designer in the UK. After the war, Beddoes worked in the film industry in art departments, as an art director , special and visual effects and as an actor. He was sketch artist on Star Wars V, illustrator on Superman, 1978, sketch artist on The Story of Robin Hood 1952 and art director on Casino Royale, 1967.
His World War 2 watercolours are represented in the Museum of World War 2, Natick, MA, USA.
