One of Sydney’s premier auction houses – high calibre of staff and goods. I am a repeat customer but this morning’s interaction with the staff in the furniture & interiors department was a highlight. I came in to pick up an 8 piece outdoor set and was met by the friendly face of Sam who assisted me in locating it hidden deep within the garden section. When I realised that it would be too heavy to collect by myself I offered to come back later with a friend, but Sam said “Mate, we’re here to help you” and rounded up a few co-workers who loaded the entire set into my truck. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer of this fine establishment for its honest practices (a surprising rarity in auction houses these days) and their amazing customer service!

Registered online however online was playing up therefore I made my way to Lawson’s. Thankfully street and onsite parking available found a spot instantly. It is my first time attend an auction. Toilets and a canteen on site. The staff at reception were really helpful & polite as were all the staff onsite including auctioneers. It’s a casual, relaxed yet welcoming atmosphere even other bidders were very friendly. Depending what your desired item lot number is you may spend the whole day at Lawson’s. Purchased some awesome furniture, crystals & luxury items for dirt cheap. Really happy with my experience. Staff even assisted me to the car, without me requesting help. Recommended, I will definitely be back in the near future.

Shauna is an expert in identifying what items are going to be of interest, of value and what is suitable to be put up for auction. She really understands the process and works through the best options available, whether it be an onsite or offsite auction. I had a very good experience with my first Lawsons auction. I won the bid on a large quantity of art and bric-a-brac and the boys on the floor were ever so helpful. They carried all my stuff out the front and loaded my taxi when it arrived. Thank you so much for a smooth auction experience.
