THEODORE PENLEIGH BOYD (1890 - 1923) - Australian Troops, France, 1917 29.5 x 23 cm


  • Notes: In 1915, Boyd joined the Australian Imperial Force becoming a sargeant in the Electrical and Mining Company. He was badly gassed at Ypres and invalided to England. In 1918 he published ''Salvage'' which he illustrated with twenty black and white ink sketches of WWI army scenes.
