Late 19th Century Gilt Carved Salon Suite of Australian Interest, comprising settee & two side chairs, with shell carved tops, velvet upholstery & square legs, with quote from David Jones in 1898 to furnish Mosman home of Deputy Master of the Royal Mint in Sydney, possibly used at the Mint as well. The armchair from this suite was used for the signing of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia, in Centennial Park in 1901 and is held by the Mitchell Library
