Katana attributed to Shinto Jumyo (Mino no Kami Jumyo), c1670 (With paperwork) Shinto period mumei (unsigned) katana, 69.2 cms nagasa (cutting edge) with no flaws in high quality koshirae with high gloss black saya. Tempering is kyo yakidashi hamon mix of pronounced choji midare hamon and suguha hamon in full polish. Fine itame-hada forging.
(Paperwork) NTHK kanteisho attributes this fine sword to Shinto Jumyo (Mino no Kami Jumyo), Enpo Period (1673-1680), Mino province
Tsuba: Edo period large iron tsuba for a katana, unsigned, with shakudo and gold highlights depicting the wise man Chokwaro under a pine tree 82 x 82 mm
Kogai: Edo gold wash with dragon on fine nanako shakudo, signed Yanagawa Kiyoshige.
Kodzuka: Edo gold wash with gold dragon and ken in high relief over finely punched shakudo, unsigned.
