CAPTAIN IAN STRANG (1886 - 1952) - Ypres from Kenwell 17.5 x 22.5 cm


  • Notes: Captain Strang served with the Royal Engineers during World War I. He studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and was a highly regarded etcher, as was his father William Strang (1859-1921). He exhibited at the Royal Academy and his war art is represented in the Imperial War Museum.
