Bronze Skanda Mahayana Bodhisattva Figure regarded as a devoted guardian of Buddhist monasteries who guards the Buddhist teachings. He is also sometimes known in the Chinese tradition "Hufa Weituo Zuntian Pusa", meaning "Honored Dharma Protector Skanda Bodhisattva", because he is the leader of the twenty-four celestial guardian deities mentioned in the Golden Light Sutra. This figure is standing on a stand wearing phoenix crown & chainmail armor over flowing robes with a flying belt around him. The face has a gentle expression, accented with gold, red, pigments.
