Lawsons Auctioneers has been entrusted by the NSW State Government to sell by public auction a limited release of Numeral and Euro Numeral Limited Edition Number Plates. The Numeral-only plates, featuring three, four, or five digits, and the Euro Numeral plates, with two to four digits prefixed by an ‘N’, will be available throughout 2024-2025. Current owners of these numeral-only and limited edition number plates will already appreciate the historical significance and high demand associated with these plates. The auctions at Lawsons present a unique opportunity to own an important piece of Australian automotive history.

Limited Edition Euro Numeral Number Plate Auction - Under instruction from Transport for NSW
27 NOVEMBER 2024 AUCTION
For the first time in nearly 20 years, Transport for NSW is offering a limited release of exclusive Euro Numeral Plates through Lawsons Auctioneers. These plates feature a premium, new design that will not be available for general sale.
Thirty never-before-released plates, each a unique collector’s item and featuring only 2-4 numerals will be up for auction.

NSW numeric-only number plate ’70’ sold by online auction for $1,710,350 (including buyer’s premium). The historic plate had been held by one prominent Sydney family since circa 1920. Thank you to all who participated in the 19 September 2024 auction.
NSW Numeric Number Plate '26313' - One Family Ownership
9 AUGUST 2024 AUCTION
The historic plate 26313 sold by online auction for $83,353 (including buyer’s premium). NSW Numeric Number Plate ‘26313’ – One Family Ownership. Originally issued on a 1918 T model Ford and handed down through the family to the current owner (grandson), who assigned them to his 1949 Rover. Recently the plates have been put on hold with Service NSW.
