| In collaboration with zero-carbon 2030, Lawsons Auctioneers is hosting an Art for Climate charity auction. A not-for-profit organisation, zero-carbon 2030 seeks to empower and inform consumers by conducting Carbon Ratings that assess companies' commitments and actions on climate change. The findings are published and accessible on the Carbon Rating Finder App* giving consumers, investors, and fund managers the ability to make informed decisions to support businesses that are taking responsible action. The collection of 79 artworks have been donated by artists as well as the personal collection of zero-carbon 2030 Founder and CEO, Duncan Ritchie. The artworks do not focus on the environment per se, but they serve as a reminder of how humans interact with the natural world, a natural world which is under threat due to climate change. True to the ethos, zero-carbon 2030 have partnered with Carbon Neutral who will assist to offset emissions associated with transportation by planting native trees in the Yarra Yarra biodiversity corridor. A leader in climate change solutions, Carbon Neutral offer carbon solutions and carbon management services to organisations. Immediate action to counter climate change is crucial and Lawsons Auctioneers is proud to take part in an auction where funds will contribute to positive changes.
