12x 2017 HAPPS 'iSeries' Pinot Noir.
'Pinot Noir is the next wine fashion' declared Ross Brown, of Brown Brothers, speaking at the closing session of the 9th International Cool Climate Symposium in Hobart, Tasmania.
HAPPS believe that the southern extreme of Margaret River produces a distinctive and attractive Pinot Noir... Here is your chance to test that assertion.
Light red with a red hue in colour. The nose - A fruity aroma displaying strawberry, cranberry and cherry characters with hints of stalk, forest floor, fruit mince, candy and roses. The strawberry and cranberry flavours carry on to the palate and combine with ripe cherry, rhubarb and hints of confectionary, fruit paste and spice. It's a light to medium bodied wine that is generous in flavour, with subtle oak, soft acidity and attractive chalky tannin.
