Wilkinson Mounted Rifles Officer's Sword 1892 sheet steel with rolled edges engraved with large Crown & 'VMR', the ricassa engraved 'Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall. London'. With a leather-covered scabbard with brass chape, & frog strap. Only sixty officers left with the two VRM contingents, with six killed in action at Wilmansrust.
Condition - good to fair, some rust & wear
