The estate of the late, highly acclaimed artist, Mr Douglas Dundas – over 100 works in oils, waters and pencils. Works also from deceased wife Dorothy Thornhill. All fresh to the market and sold unreserved.
The estate of the late Ronald Dent, who was best man and Rubery Bennetts closest friend. There are 11 works that were gifted directly to Ronald from Rubery. All are fresh to the market and there are a number of other items that we are selling that form part of that estate including Rubery Bennetts entire collection of photographic slides (two massive crates full). These are mainly landscape shots that he used as studies for his paintings. The slides will form part of our 12th Sept book sale along with a whole lot of photographs, sketches and other ephemera that
belonged to Rubery.
Other Art to include a number of Gleesons from a Nowra estate, Blackman, Strachan, Hart, Sid Long among many.
