Lawsons Fine Art

Lawsons conducts a Fine Art Auction on the last Thursday afternoon of the month at 2.30pm. The Fine Art Auction features a range of Australian Colonial, Modern, Contemporary, Aboriginal and International works.

Lawsons conducts a specialised art sale on the second week of each month. These are either Aboriginal & Tribal art sales, or our Vintage Prints & Graphics sales and consign for both of these sales continuously. Consult our forthcoming sales calendar on the home page for more information and bear in mind sale dates may change due to public holidays.

Artworks can be consigned throughout the month on any Monday or Tuesday up until the week before the auction. Our art specialists will appraise the work's suitability for either the Fine Art Auction or for the weekly estate and general sale. All sales are fully catalogued and illustrated.

Appraisals

Lawsons will provide a free initial estimate of auction value. Our Specialists can appraise Australian and International works of art in all mediums every Thursday morning between 9am and 12pm at our Leichhardt saleroom. Photographs of artworks can also be emailed to info@lawsons.com.au  for appraisal. Please provide a clear photograph of each item including the dimensions, artist's signature, medium, physical condition and any other relevant information.
